Ahara has a long history beginning in 1972 as an Ayurvedic Postpartum Sevador /Doula offering support to mom, babes and families during the postpartum window. In the late nineties Ahara helped Ysha Oakes create a PP care and ayurvedically based program, the Sacred Window School. Ahara currently teaches in the evolution of the Sacred Window School offering hands on PP classes in the Ayurvedic Doula program at Ayurved Sadhana School in Superior Colorado. Ahara participated with a team supporting people in life transitions as well as those healing high trauma from 2006- spring 2020. Two of our team created a year-long mentor program for those committed to their own personal growth as well as wishing to learn the skills of working with Soul, Body and Mind through transitional times and trauma based influences. Ahara holds a psychology degree through CU, Boulder, is a minister through the Center of Soulful Living and is an LMT and Certified Medical Massage Therapist. Ahara continues to teach and mentor new Instructors as a senior instructor of Aquatic Bodywork through the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association.

Ahara became a Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapist (2017) and a Polarity Life Coach (2019) through Colorado School of Energy Studies and has had the delight to work with Anna Chitty and the late John Chitty deepening professionally and growing personally. Additionally, attending Ray Castellano’s and Anna Chitty’s first Body Into Being.

Ahara is a Mom, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Ahara is currently refocusing to offer pre- perinatal support professionally. ‘I am collaborating in Santa Fe, NM where I reside, to offer PP educational classes and professional pre & perinatal services for moms, babes and families.
