What are Integrated Prenatal and Perinatal Dynamics?
In 2019, Kate White and Certified Nurse Midwife, Lois Trezise, took on a bold initiative: To combine the midwifery model of care with prenatal and perinatal somatic approaches. Integrated Prenatal and Perinatal Dynamics combines midwifery and mother-baby dyad approaches to prevent and heal birth trauma. Practitioners are trained to work with families, parents and babies starting preconception. Our modules include:
- Preconception/Conception Dynamics
- Prenatal Dynamics
- Physiologic Birth Dynamics
- Chemical Imprints
- Surgical and Mechanical Birth Imprints
- Postpartum Care
You can see more in the online classroom.
Practitioners are trained in 180 hours of autonomic nervous system and prenatal and perinatal dynamics to help prevent and heal birth trauma that includes the baby.
