What's In This Section?
Having a baby is exciting and it can also be stressful. In this section, we would like to lay the foundation for understanding different tools to help with trauma prevention. Pregnancy and birth experiences often bring up memories about previous worries or traumas that we call Ghosts and Echoes. Previous difficult pregnancies, births, the parents' own early trauma and ancestral patterns or events may all influence how the prenatal period, birth and after birth unfold. Pregnant people and their partners are invited to complete intake forms that detail their histories for personal work in our healing practice. We go over them to help you feel your resilience and make choices for parenting and selfcare. In this short course, our evidenced-based tools are offered here so you can feel your resilience for yourself, and to look at your life through our lens. You will have access to:
- Multigenerational Inheritance
- Adverse Childhood Experiences and Resilience Score
- Adverse Early Experiences and Resilience Score
- Benevolent Childhood Experiences
- Attachment Styles information
- Boundary Repair exercise
- Preconception is an Intentional Space
- What Kind of Parent Do You Want To Be? Writing Prompts and Process
