Welcome and What to Expect

Welcome to the Leading Edge II!

This class offers 6 sessions that are skills oriented topics for healing earliest trauma. I specialize in the prevention and healing of overwhelming experiences that start preconception through the first 18 months of life. This particular approach began in 1999 when I completed my training in Biodynamic craniosacral therapy and my clients began to remember their births on my bodywork table. I have been pursuing a deep understanding of our earliest experiences in life ever since. My skills include advanced bodywork, trauma resolution, and prenatal and perinatal somatic psychology. My teachers include:

  • Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology with William Emerson and his student Karlton Terry (trainings completed in 2002-2003)
  • Prenatal and Perinatal Professional Training with Myrna Martin (trainings, coordination, assisted and apprenticed, 2004-2014)
  • Somatic Experiencing Instructors Ariel Giaretto, Berns Galloway, Kathy Kain, Raja Selvam, Peter Levine, Abi Blakselee (2011-present)
  • Trauma Resolution and Bodywork instructors Stephen Terrell and Brigit Viksnins (2013-2018)
  • Body into Being with Ray Castellino and Anna Chitty (multiple trainings and workshops 2013 to present)
  • Family Practitioner Training Ray Castellino, Tara Blasco, and Mary Jackson (multiple workshops and training, 2013 until present)
  • Polarity Coaching, Working with Babies, and Blueprint Resonance, John and Anna Chitty (trainings and mentoring starting 2013 to the present)

Each class offers a small bite-sized practice with some insight into baby's experience, plus trauma prevention and resolution skills. Your basic skills practice includes shift autonomic states based on the body's felt sense. Practitioners are expected to know how to facilitate this change in others.

Our classes are held in Zoom Technology Software. All classes are recorded and uploaded in the classroom so you can view them at any time. Links to the live calls are always in the classroom and you will be reminded of our calls. Handouts of presentations will be provided.

Each class is 2 hours long. Our format includes:

  • Welcome, Embodiment meditation and social connection with other practitioners
  • Lecture format using powerpoint
  • Breakout sessions for practice
  • Harvest and sharing
  • Listening homework

Thank you for interest in preventing and healing earliest trauma. For me, it is the most engaging work we can do to discover our essential nature.
