Welcome to Treating Babies: Learning to Help Babies with "Hands-On" Manual Treatment.

This is a series of four classes that will give you the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to perform hands on examination and treatment of a baby. We have no required prerequisites for the course and feel excited to be able to walk you through the basics from assessment to your first treatment. It is an excellent fit for many different kinds of professionals who work with families with babies.

The course will be delivered online via the interactive zoom platform. It will include video footage of babies being examined and treated by Dr Evans in his clinic in Australia. Dr Evans has an extensive library of footage to draw upon and he has been using this footage to teach Pediatric Osteopathy since 2016. The course will consist of 4 sessions (see below) and will include time for questions and interaction during the sessions.

• Session One: Introduction, Overview of Manual Treatment, Taking a History, Examination and Assessment, Working with a Family, Safety and Homework
• Session Two: Self-Assessment Review, Examination and Treatment of Trunk, Spins, Fetal Patterns, Neck, Spine, Homework Session Demonstration
• Session Three: Self-Assessment Review, Examination and Treatment of the Cranium, Face and Mouth, Head Shape, Post Treatment, Putting it All Together, Homework Session Three
• Session Four: Self-Assessment Review, Open session for students to ask questions, ask for assistance, more information available on treating babies, Homework Assignment

The online sessions will be interactive nature, and assessments offered by Jonathan and Kate.
