Recorded on June 10 and June 17, 2023

This free two-part series will be offered on two Saturdays:

Leadership Webinar #1: How Women Rise, Part I - Theory (6/10/23)

In her first presentation of the series, Dr. Amber Price will challenge traditional leadership concepts that are taught as ‘best practice’ - because they often don’t apply to women, and there is no “best practice.” By exploring the reality that women are expected to lead in the way that men do while being held to a higher standard, Dr. Price will examine the data for female executive leaders, review basic leadership and change-leadership principles, and highlight the issues that women face in leadership roles - especially those leading to burnout. In-depth discussion will center around Equity, the reasons it’s so challenging to ‘move up,’ and critical things to be aware of - ultimately guiding women to a different leadership focus that inspires them to stop conforming and start leading innovatively by tapping into their personal strengths.

Leadership Webinar #2: How Women Rise, Part II - Action (6/17/23)

Dr. Price’s second presentation of the series will offer a brief review of the prior session (Theory) followed by specific steps and action toward succeeding in leadership. We will explore leadership concepts often taught in business programs and how they may be harmful to women, and discuss how women lead most effectively and how to take advantage of opportunities that arise. This session includes busting common myths about female leaders and will define the roadblocks to success - and how to anticipate, avoid, and conquer them. DEI as a component of leadership will be explored, as well as basic leadership development and meaningful tools for success.

"There are more CEOs named John in the entire nature than there are female executives combined.

That is one of my favorite quotes."
